There is no room service!! Most of the people that work in the building only speak little a English. There s one sit down restaurant, but it is old and smells. There is a small walk up restaurant in the casino, it’s the only place with tables and chairs. The casino is so small they only have a stand up bar. Are room looked like they didn’t clean after the last guests. The vents are covered with disgusting “stuff” so there is no ventilation. There is no exhaust fan in the ceiling of the bathroom. We we warned not to walk around outside at night. The building is located in a dingy part of Richmond and so far from downtown, so there is nothing to do. If you are going to charge high end prices provide a value to customers that reflect this. All in all when looked at closely, it reflects a property that makes no effort to take small steps to take care of the small details but happily charges rates of 5 star competitors. To find the couch to have pet hair on it, is disgusting quite simply not give confidence that less visible areas are any better maintained. For any travellers requiring reasonable internet, do not choose to rely on the free internet, it is useless and slow.

Had this been known prior to checkin, we would have re-assed our choice prior to booking. Here are the facts - first and foremost, all customers beware that the hotel will charge you 2% for the use of your credit card upon checkout. Do not stay here and do not place trust in a management team that does not respect you as a customer. Terrible front desk, terrible management, and frankly if you spend as much per night as we did and they are unwilling to make things right, then it shows that they don’t value the customers and quite frankly never will. We will choose to never stay at this hotel again.
